Red Bank is located on the banks of Monmouth County’s beautiful Navesink River. The borough is home to 1.75 square miles and is about five miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. 12,000 people live in this small town that was formerly part of Shrewsbury Township. Red Bank gets its name from the river’s rich red clay banks that form one of its borders.
