Located in Middlesex County, Middlesex Township is a family-friendly community within the Raritan Valley Region. The town was once part of Piscataway Township until 1913. What was once small farms is now a quaint suburb with beautiful parks, top-performing schools, and much more.

The Middlesex Board of Education serves students from pre-K through 12th grade and includes three elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. With just under 2100 students and 180 classroom teachers, there is plenty of individualized instruction and personalized care. Besides stellar academics, the school district offers many extracurricular activities and programs. In fact, 8th-grade students can apply for high school programs offered by the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical Schools.
Besides its excellent schools, Middlesex also has a full-service library with plenty to offer to the community. There are classes and clubs for all ages, including adults, as well as job-finding resources, SAT prep help, and plenty more. The Middlesex library even features a Children's Room with areas for crafting, video games, and reading. It's an excellent resource for everyone in town.
For those commuting to New York City, you'll have plenty of highways to use for your commute to work. You can also utilize the NJ Transit station in the neighboring town of Dunellen. There are also bus services available to New York and Newark through NJ Transit. But you don't have to leave town to access amazing restaurants, shops, and entertainment. There is plenty to do both within the township as well as neighboring towns.
