Seaside Park

The Borough of Seaside Park is nestled within the Barnegat Barrier Island in Ocean County. Known as "The Family Resort" - Seaside Park is a small, charming town of about ¾ of a square mile and a year-round population of just over 2,200 people. It's known for its beautiful two miles of shoreline on the ocean. Like other Jersey shore towns, Seaside Park gets a big tourism rush over the summer. The town is bordered on the north by Seaside Heights, which is home to amusement parks, arcades, rides, and a famous boardwalk. To the south, you'll find Island Beach State Park. The State Park is well known for its unique beach experience for the average beachgoers, fishing enthusiasts, and jeep owners that want to drive on the sand.

Besides its excellent location that all beach enthusiasts would enjoy, Seaside Park has a lot to offer for its citizens and summer visitors. The town itself has more of a small-town charm than other neighboring shore towns and is very family-oriented. It's one of the most popular places for families to enjoy all of the benefits of the beach living lifestyle.

Whether you're thinking about buying a summer home in Seaside Park or living there full time, getting around the state is pretty easy. You can get to the Garden State Parkway in less than 20 minutes from most parts of town. Also, there is an NJ Transit station located in Bay Head that will take you through some very scenic parts of the state and all the way to New York City.

The Seaside Park School District closed in 2010, so now local students can attend Toms River Regional Schools or Schools located in the Lavallette district for Kindergarten through 6th grade. Both districts are highly rated and offer academic and extracurricular activities for Seaside Park kids.
