Brielle

Along the banks of the Manasquan River, you’ll find the charming borough of Brielle. Bordered by Manasquan and Point Pleasant Beach, the town is known as a haven for boaters. It’s easy to see why considering that the town borders on four miles of waterfront along the Manasquan River, Glimmerglass, and Debbie’s Creek - all saltwater and tidal bodies of water. Besides all the gorgeous water views, the downtown area also offers plenty of shopping, dining, and unique spots.

Brielle has a population of around 4,800 people and is surrounded by several parks and marinas. Its recreation departments provide many different sporting activities as well as programs and classes for all ages. The Manasquan River Golf Club, located in Brielle, has a sprawling 140-acre course with 18 holes. Furthermore, the nearby Manasquan Yacht Club also offers many different perks for its members.

Families looking to relocate to Brielle will be happy to know the schools in town are highly rated. The Brielle School District serves students from Kindergarten to 8th grade, while students from 9th to 12th grade attend either Manasquan High School or Red Bank Regional High School. There are also several private schools nearby. Besides stellar academics, there are also a variety of extracurricular activities and programs offered by the district.

Commuters to Manhattan will have a relatively easy time getting to the city by using the Garden State Parkway. However, there are several public transportation options as well. The NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line has train stations in the neighboring towns of Manasquan and Spring Lake. There is also bus service to New York City, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, and all the towns in between. You can also get to the city via the Seastreak Ferry, and it takes about 45 minutes each way.
