For those of you anxiously awaiting the opening, the wait is over! The Asbury Ocean Club Hotel has officially opened as of July 1st. The luxury hotel promises to bring class and sophistication to further the fantastic decade long comeback of Asbury Park.

The Asbury Ocean Club is the Shore’s first 5-star boutique hotel and stretches over 1.25 miles of the beautiful Asbury Park shoreline. The hotel is built on an abandoned site that was left empty for decades. Its construction marks a milestone for Asbury Park, standing tall as a symbol that the Jersey Shore is officially “back.” It’s 17 stories mimic those of big-city hotels and buildings. The coastline’s new look of luxury and class will hopefully signal to the country that it’s time to revisit the Shore.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
On Monday, July 1st, iStar, the Asbury Park developer behind the Asbury Ocean Club, celebrated it’s opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The senior VP of land development at iStar Brian Cheripka promised to “bring life” to the site that sat vacant for more than 30 years.
Gorgeous Guest Rooms
Each spacious guest room at the Asbury Ocean Club features 11-foot floor to ceiling windows so you can enjoy the scenic views inside as well as outside on expansive terraces. Guests can choose from either ocean or sand dune views and starting in 2020, will be able to dine in an exclusive restaurant promised to be headed by a high-profile chef.
Boost to the Local Economy
This giant new hotel will host nearly 300 new jobs for locals and also partner with local restaurants and retail shops, making it a valuable new addition to the local economy. New employees will also receive complimentary hospitality training, ensuring not only their success at the hotel but in their future careers.
